How We Work

  1. Pick your machine

    Cotton candy, ice cream, drink and snack, prize — tell us what you're placing, its make and model, and how far you'll drive to service it. That is all we need to know which venues fit.

  2. Refundable, and the terms come first

    Put down the deposit

    A $1,000 deposit, refundable in full — it comes back if we have not placed your machine within 6 months. Every term is shown and acknowledged before you pay any of it.

  3. Cold calls and in-person visits

    We start knocking

    Our scouts cold call and walk into venues across your driving distance — the kinds of place you picked, in the area you gave us. This is the part nobody else does for you.

  4. Around 3 months on average

    A location is found

    Pinpoint signs the host agreement with the venue and you get the licence to operate there. The venue's counterparty is us, which is what makes the guarantees possible.

  5. Fees start the day it earns

    Install your machine

    Machine in, running, selling. From that day you pay the venue its 30–40% share of sales after expenses, and Pinpoint $100 a month. Not a day before.

The questions operators actually ask.

What if I don't like any of the locations?

We present up to 2 qualified locations. If you turn them down, we keep searching at no extra cost. If we still haven't placed you 6 months after you order, you get the full $1,000 back with no conditions.

Why is there a revenue share on top of the monthly fee?

Every venue in vending takes a cut — it's what makes them agree to host a machine at all. Our host agreements run 30–40% of revenue after expenses, and you see the exact figure on each location before choosing. The $100/month is separate: it's the licence fee for the space we hold under contract.

Who signs the agreement with the venue?

We do. Pinpoint holds the host agreement and licenses the space to you. That's why we can move you to a new location free if something goes wrong — we own the relationship, not you.

How long does it actually take?

If we already have a signed location within your driving distance, days. If we're searching from scratch, about 3 months on average — and you watch it happen live in your account: venues contacted, decision makers reached, meetings booked.

What if the venue removes my machine?

If it happens in the first 12 months through no fault of yours, we find and place you in a replacement location free of charge.

Do I need to already own a machine?

Yes — we place machines, we don't sell them. If you're still choosing one, tell us the type and footprint you're considering and we'll show you what venues are asking for. Sweet Robo, our parent company, builds several of the machines our venues sign for.

Is the deposit really refundable?

Yes, in two cases: we don't place you within 6 months (full refund, no conditions), or your machine has been placed and operating for 12 months (deposit returned). Leaving a location before 12 months forfeits it — that's the one way you lose it, and it's stated before you pay.

What am I responsible for once placed?

Keeping the machine stocked, clean, working and serviced within the agreed response time, and carrying liability insurance that names Pinpoint. The venue calls us if something's wrong, so we hold operators to a standard — and we'll tell you exactly what it is before you commit.
